Otherside Outdoors is a grassroots hobby shop that specializes in custom metal cutouts. Primarily firepits. Firepits that burn so bright, they rival the sun!

We also make individualized mounts for antlered animal remains, metal wall art, and whatever other random pet project sparks an interest.

Bottomless Pits

Inspired by the recent rash of over-engineered, overpriced, so-called ‘smokeless’ firepits flooding the national market; Bottomless brand fire pits stand as testament to the age-old adage that “less is more”. Bottomless Pits are simply a custom-cut fire ring that sits atop a wire frame. That frame elevates the fire just above the ground surface, allowing for maximum oxygenation, robust flames, and therefore, less smoke.

The truth is, if you burn wood properly, there will be very little to no smoke anyway.

General Purpose ART

Pretty much everything here is art to some degree. General Purpose Art is kind of a generic catch-all category for all other projects of particular interest. This may include but is not limited to; Signage, crests, badges, wall hangings, stamps, statues, trinkets and tchotchkes, etc...

So, if you’re looking for something other than deer mounts or fire pits, you’ll probably find it here.

Dead Metal Mounts

Dead Metal Mounts are simple metal bases for Euro-mount heads and antlers that can be individualized to reflect the significant set of circumstances under which the animal was harvested. Providing a method to display trophy skulls on a solid metal base where the hunter’s pertinent information is laser engraved, and the signature of the firearm used can be permanently stamped. Or not. That part is up to the individual, but the instructions for doing so will be provided along with each mount.
